The Congressional oversight panel has published a set of roughly 70 images obtained from the property of deceased adjudicated sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

This constitutes the third disclosure from a larger collection of over 95,000 photos the panel has secured from Epstein's holdings. It contains images of passages from the literary work Lolita scrawled across a woman's body, and redacted images of women's overseas passports.

This release arrives just hours before the December 19th cut-off for the DOJ to release each files connected to its investigation into Epstein.

"These new images raise more questions about what exactly the DOJ has in its holdings," stated the ranking member of the panel, Robert Garcia.

Contents in the Photos Made Public

Several of the photographs published on Thursday feature Epstein conversing with professor and activist Noam Chomsky aboard a private jet; Bill Gates standing alongside a female whose face is censored; Steve Bannon positioned at a desk opposite Epstein, and ex- Alphabet president Sergey Brin at a dinner event.

These are the latest high-net-worth, powerful individuals to be seen in Epstein's estate photos released by the oversight panel - earlier published photos also depict US President Donald Trump and ex-president Bill Clinton, as well as director Woody Allen, former US Secretary of the Treasury Larry Summers, attorney Alan Dershowitz, Andrew Mountbatton-Windsor, and other figures.

Showing up in the images is is not considered indication of any illegal activity, and a number of the photographed individuals have asserted they were not implicated in Epstein's illegal activity.

In a press release accompanying the image publication, Lawmakers on the US House Oversight Committee said the Epstein estate's representatives did not provide explanatory details or dates for the photographs.

"Images were chosen to offer the American people with clarity into a typical cross-section of the photographs received from the estate, and to give perspectives into Epstein's associates and his exceptionally troubling behavior," the release states.

The release also includes several images of passages from the Vladimir Nabokov novel Lolita written in ink across different parts of a female's body, including her torso, lower extremity, hip, and rear. Lolita narrates the account of a adolescent who was groomed by a older literature professor.

One quote from the novel inscribed across a female's chest states, "Lo-lee-ta: the end of the tongue making a journey of three steps down the palate to land, at three, on the teeth".

Additionally, there are a series of photographs of female travel documents and ID papers from states globally, like Lithuania, Russia, the Czech Republic, and Ukraine.

Most of the data on the IDs, including names and DOBs, is censored but the panel said in a announcement that the passports pertain to "females whom Jeffrey Epstein and his conspirators were involved with".

A further photo depicts Epstein seated at a desk in close proximity surrounded by three female figures whose features have been redacted - one has her palm on Epstein's torso under his shirt, and another individual is crouching to examine a nearby device. Epstein can be seen to be assisting the third individual fasten a piece of jewelry.

An additional photograph released is a capture of digital messages from an unknown sender who states they have been sent "several females" and are demanding "$$1,000 per girl".

Photograph Release Occurs Before DOJ Cut-off

The body has many thousands of photographs in its custody from the Epstein holdings, which are "at once disturbing and ordinary," its press release on this week explained.

The Congressional committee first subpoenaed the estate of Epstein, who was found dead in a New York prison in 2019 while pending legal proceedings on charges of sex trafficking, in August.

The photographs and documents the Epstein estate submitted to the committee are different than what is often termed "the Epstein files". That material are documents in the DOJ's possession related to its independent investigation into Epstein.

In accordance with the recently passed law, which the President made law recently, the DOJ has until the date of 19 December to publish its files. The extent of the contents included in the DOJ's records is unknown, and it's expected that much of the content will be significantly obscured, akin to the committee's releases
